I love blogging. Really, I do! It is so exciting to share with others, and blogging is a way I can do it. An online connection opportunity that allows for story telling. And it gives me a place to put photos like these that I took when playing with color and winter theme wedding details.
So, the big question is: why haven't I blogged in the last few months? Ummm......
I don't have a great answer for that. Lack of focus, combine with huge amounts of great and desirable things on my plate (weddings to edit, senior sessions to put together, day in the life of business photos to take, you know, the good stuff of being a photographer), and a little bit of over busy. In other words, some fantastic good old fashioned growing pains for my business.
Growing pains are good - they mean there is growth! And this year has been a great year of growth for Elements of Light. I'm proud of progress, developments and goals attained.
Not to be too much of a Polly Anna , and in the interest of sincerity, I will admit that as the year is closing there are some missed goals/targets, and some fears to overcome.
Even with those issues to deal with and overcome, all in all, things are well here at Elements of Light Photography Hopefully, over the next two weeks I'll be able to share some of the ups and downs of growing a photography business from my point of view - and even more hopefully, this will all be of interest and inspiring to anyone who takes the time to read these posts.
